Maureen O'Connell, a retired FBI agent, and I spent 20 years on the FBI's forensics team.

And today we have a very special guest and a very good friend of mine and someone I just love and admire.

Hi, this is Gary Gardner, retired FBI agent, spent 30 years in the Bureau and a couple years in the Army in which I

was in Vietnam and was an Army Ranger. And hey, I enjoyed the best job a guy could ever have

in the world. So that's awesome. Thank you for coming, Gary. It's my pleasure to be with you guys.

So, Jim, just for context, I'd always heard about Gary Gardner, but then he and I served on

the National Board of InfraGuard, which is the FBI's largest public private sector partnership.

And he was the chairman of the board. And I was the president.

And boy, did we have fun. We may have run Ribshot a little bit because we're wired very

similarly. And that's where that's where Gary met you when you were kind enough to come and

speak to everyone. And boy, did they love that. Still couldn't figure out why, but they should have loved it.

Well, our paths actually could have crossed.

I was in New York.

Yeah.

Went from, what were the years that you were in the bureau and what offices?

Okay, I was in a bureau from 67 to 2000, and I was in New York City from 78 to 86.

Wow.

So when I first got to New York, I was on the bank robbery squad.
