but still she had some early signs that she might be on to something. Here's how holistic in

shalada got started. I was teaching full-time back in 2017 and I had already been teaching for a

couple of years and was kind of just dreading the days like getting up early and going and being

with the kids all day long. It's just really draining and then I would come home to my daughters.

So I have always wanted to have my own business and work for myself and I previously had like a

Etsy shop and I had kind of dabbled to know their things, but I wanted something more passive. So

I saw an ad on Facebook for how to start a blog with some, I don't even remember who it was.

And that kind of just got me thinking and people were always coming to me for

information about organic lifestyle, clean living and stuff like that in addition to curly hair.

And so that's kind of what inspired me to start and really I started with a lifestyle blog
