π TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 46
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

| 0:56.2 | It says, God is our refuge and strength. |
| 1:00.8 | A very present help in trouble. Now let's think about that for a moment. A refuge. A refuge is a place that you run to for protection and safety. It says God is our strength. Strength is what we need when we feel weak, when we need to |
| 1:17.4 | accomplish something that's maybe a little beyond our capacity. And he says God is our refuge and our strength. our He's very present my friends. He's there with us in those moments, in those times where trouble comes our way. |
| 1:38.0 | I think sometimes when the fear rises up, it's rising up from a place inside of us where our belief really is that we're all alone. |
| 1:47.0 | You see we're forgetting this, that God is a very present help in trouble, and that he is a refuge and a strength for us. We forget it and so the fear rises up. |
| 1:57.5 | My friends we need to remind ourselves like the Sons of Cora are doing for us today, that God is that refuge, he is that strength, |
| 2:05.4 | he is that very present help in trouble. |
| 2:08.6 | Now let's listen to this next verse because they apply that truth. |
| 2:12.4 | They say, therefore therefore we will not fear. |
| 2:15.0 | Now do you see that's what we need to do when trouble comes? |
| 2:20.0 | Do not fear why? |
| 2:22.0 | Because God is our refuge and strength in very present help in trouble |
| 2:26.6 | And these sons of Cora they give a very extreme example they say we will not fear though the earth gives way. Though the mountains |
