Hi, this is Maureen O'Connell with Best Case, Worst Case, and we're continuing our conversation with Dave Mamet, and we're lucky enough to have Tim Clementi come on again to be with us.

And we look forward to this conversation with the great one and only Dave

Mamet. So getting back to Hollywood and stuff, our good friend Bobby, the Chaconne, he wanted to know

what was his question again about writers? Yeah, like so people that have real life stories, my brother Jim,

Maureen, myself, Bobby, we've all written. We're all in the WGA. Are you in the WGA?

No. Well, I take that back. Not yet. You should be in the WGA. I know. I should.

So we're, we're quote unquote professional writers because, you know, I wrote eight episodes of TV

that I got paid to write. So I've been able to

make a semi-decent living out of it. Bobby tried to break in a little later than we did. And he has

a lot of stories to tell. He has an extensive career in the FBI. He basically every case that the

FBI has worked in the last 30 years that was in or around water,

the TWA Flight 800, the U.S. is coal in Yemen.

So many, the Lacey Peterson case, so many cases involve water because bad guys always think,

if I toss this in the water or I do this on the water, there's no evidence.

It's not the case. And so Bobby's

got all these great stories and show ideas and feature ideas. But every time he tries to pitch

one to somebody, it's like, well, there's no underlying IP. You know, get the New York Times to write an

article, an extensive piece in New York Times magazine or write a book. And then we'll talk about it.

It's one of the things XG productions that we're all attached to that Jim Clemente and Tim

started years ago, and that was to help all these law enforcement people that not only get

treated badly on the street, but they get treated very badly in Hollywood.

Well, everybody gets treated badly in Hollywood.
