Maybe you can just outline what are the protests about and why have they kicked off in such a big way?

The protests are about a proposed extradition bill that would allow suspected criminals to be sent

back to a number of territories including mainland China.

So the worry is that if that passed then China could use that as essentially a legal avenue to arrest anyone from Hong Kong back to China and knowing China's record with human rights and knowing it's justice system, it's very scary for the people of

So China would essentially try and use that as a loophole they think just to extradite anybody

back to China. That is the fear, anybody in Hong Kong, and Hong Kong enjoys a lot of freedoms that people

in mainland China don't, and the worries, if that passed passed then essentially those freedoms would no longer be there
