Our guest today has a story that is absolutely remarkable and fascinating and more mysterious upon listening to it back than I remembered the first time around.

It's very mysterious.

There's a lot of layers, a lot of unpacking to do, but Tim, I'd like to unpack your mood. I'd like to unpack your mood I'd like to

unpack this and present it to the world how are you today thank you I'm doing

all right you know I made the switch today from ice coffee to hot coffee you

know because it's that time of year now.

Yeah, it's a big move, you know, we're here in the middle of October and in the northeast

and that's what happens.

Begrudgingly, let me add.

But it looks delicious.

You just showed me that it looks good. It's definitely good coffee. But yes, this interview with Max Libo of the Final War is really fascinating and the final war is his new podcast and his

podcast is about how he was hacked by Chinese dissidents or the Chinese

government. There you go put the little question mark at the tail of that. Yeah, and there is as you'll hear in the conversation

There's still some question about exactly what's going on but Max is certainly trying to figure it out and it's a pretty wild story.

It's also a journey for him as well and for him trying to come to terms with why he went as far as he did with the hacking.

Psychologically speaking, he's even trying to figure it out during this conversation.

Why didn't he just stop and block these individuals, whoever they were or are, and a bit of a cautionary tale as well.

I understand how powerful curiosity can be but you have to pull yourself back from that

rabbit hole when appropriate.

Yeah, you definitely got to be careful and this situation that Max found himself in was, you know, potentially dangerous and the story is a bit personality driven because of Max's moves as you mentioned. I think a lot of people would have just blocked the accounts or whatnot, but I think he felt like he had come too far to do that, especially when he was sort of presented evidence of you know what he

thought was him being hacked and you know it's very possible for sure really would
