I'm back to New York Who.

I'm feeling pretty fragile, I got to say.

I limped my way over here, limped my way across town today.

You know, back from my sojourn in the Algonquin wilderness, which I somehow got through,

you know, five days and six nights of brutal canoeing and portaging. I mean, this is the,

I guess, the third expedition I've ever done like this, by far the most ambitious. It's always

me and my buddy Dan that do these. And this was the most ambitious one we tried, got through all

of that complete with, you know, some of the kind of harrowing experiences that come with the

territory. I'll come back to that in a second. And wouldn't you know it when I was getting back

on the subway in Toronto, like literally getting on the subway car, I felt like a, I don't

know, a creek in one of my toes. And I've been limping ever since. Well, fitting, in a way, it just goes to show you, you know, never leave the podcast.

But I got to say, it was nice to be away from everything, you know,

including the podcast, honestly, just everything. You didn't see the Ted Cruz clip, did you? That

clip of him drinking beer. I heard, yeah, I heard part of it. And with what, this is some new

right-wing bullshit culture war controversy where it's like, the libs want to make us drink only two beers they

want to make it illegal to drink three beers is that about the crux of it yeah i think there was some

recommendation from some body somewhere that was the crux of it this is old news by now but there was

it was the rather lynchian video of him standing in front of like a bunch of you know old's beer gutted men
