| 0:10.0 | I'm very thankful that you are here, that you are part of the morning mindset today |
| 0:15.0 | because you have an opportunity to fill your thinking, your mind with the truth of God. |
| 0:25.0 | And it's important that we do that every day, |
| 0:27.0 | because it's the truth of God that enables us |
| 0:30.0 | to think along the line of what is going to benefit not only our lives but the lives of |
| 0:36.1 | those around us and is that thinking that pondering the truth that enables us to begin living differently. |
| 0:43.4 | And in Romans chapter 12, the apostle Paul has told us |
| 0:46.8 | we are to transform ourselves by renewing our minds. |
| 0:52.1 | And I gave you an example in yesterday's episode of the |
| 0:55.7 | podcast of what that looks like and it really isn't an issue of exchanging |
| 1:00.6 | things. You know what it's like to exchange something you purchase something at the |
| 1:03.7 | store you decide it doesn't fit right it's the wrong color it's really not a |
| 1:08.0 | style that you want if you take it back for an exchange you're able to give that |
| 1:12.1 | item back and take a different one that's |
| 1:16.4 | different in some way that you think is better. That is the concept of exchanging and |
| 1:21.2 | what we do to renew our minds is to exchange our of that have not served us well because they're based in lies, they're based in |
| 1:34.9 | untruth about us or about God or about people and we exchange those things for new |
| 1:41.4 | ways of thinking that are based on the truth of God about us or |
| 1:46.2 | about others or about the world. And you see as we do that more and more and |
| 1:50.8 | more our minds become renewed. |
| 1:54.9 | It's like our mind is being washed. |
