| 0:29.3 | And today the doctor is going to encourage you to stop settling for mediocrity. |

| 0:42.0 | If somebody were to ask me like what percentage of the population do you think is settling for |
| 0:43.6 | mediocrity? I'd be like 87 percent. 87 percent of the population is choosing to stay where they are. |
| 0:48.2 | Despite all of the unlimited possibilities that exist for themselves, |
| 0:58.9 | despite the unlimited potential that they have within them, they are settling for mediocrity. |
| 1:04.8 | And what you'll find is that 87 percent of that 87 percent, if not more, |
| 1:10.7 | is blaming their mediocreness on somebody else. Whether it's a person or it's the system or |
| 1:17.2 | whatever it may be, I'm going to give you a book recommendation. |
| 1:23.6 | And it's by Nathaniel Brandon and Willie Gregg this a couple of weeks ago, he loved it. |
| 1:28.1 | It's called taking responsibility. If you want to stop living a mediocre life, |
| 1:32.8 | you have to take responsibility for your life. |
| 1:39.6 | Full and complete responsibility for your life. When you do that, that's when everything opens up for you. |
| 1:43.2 | That's when you can take control of your life. You have that internal |
| 1:52.7 | locus of control you might have heard about, and people talk about in psychology. |
| 1:58.4 | Successful people who live above mediocrity have an internal locus of control. |
| 2:02.1 | They say, I am responsible and in control of my circumstances and conditions. |
| 2:08.0 | If we can't do that, nothing ever changes. So I highly recommend you read that book. |
| 2:15.4 | And also I'm going to highly recommend Dr. D. Martini talks about this, that you choose to be excellent. |
