Death Is Not A Failure

We are going to face death someday. Death isn't a failure; it is just one of the many things we must face in our journey through life.

The one thing we can all agree upon is that we're all going to face death.

0:22.1

As of now, there's no way getting out of it. It's coming to all of us

0:26.4

at some point in our lives. Where we differ is how we think about it, when we begin to

think about it, because we really start pondering the concept of death at

I remember in my own life I had a great grandfather and we had our birthdays on the same day

1:01.5

so for the first five years of my life we celebrated

our birthdays together. And then on my sixth birthday he wasn't there because he had died.

1:12.1

And I remember going to the funeral and seeing him being placed in the ground

and how people reacted differently to his death.

1:20.0

Some grieved.

1:21.0

Some didn't seem to be that sad, but there were different reactions to his death.

1:26.0

He had to live a full good life.

1:29.0

And I loved my great-grandfather and knew after he was buried that that next year on my sixth

birthday we wouldn't be celebrating our birthdays together ever again. But when it comes

1:41.7
