as normal and I have three spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from

the 27th of February 2025 and story number one comes from Terry. I'm a Southern Christian American

and I do not feel that I am sensitive. At a very young age I had taken to heart my mom's promise

that God protects his children and that we are not to

fear or engage with ghosts or monsters under the bed. I've never feared, but acknowledge the existence

of the supernatural. To begin my stories, I have to give a little background on the family

relationships of my father's side of the family. We are all

Southern Christian believers. My grandparents had a small farm to support the family in addition to my

grandfather's job. As the five children grew up, the elder four were each given an acre or so of the

farm on which to build their homes. The youngest, a daughter, was to inherit my

grandparents' home. In addition to the five children and their spouses, there were 15 grandchildren,

eventually 18 in total. Christmas Eve was important to my grandmother. All her children and

grandchildren gathered at her home for dinner and gifts.

For weeks prior, my grandmother would have the grandchildren come to practice Christmas carols.

During the afternoon of Christmas Eve, my grandfather would take the grandchildren to sing the carols

to elderly homebound residents of our community.

My grandmother also gathered us to sing the carols as our parents

cleared the dinner tables and put away the folding tables and chairs in preparation for the gifts.
