So imagine that your journey as a real estate investor is a lot like climbing a mountain. And the peak of that mountain

is your goal, financial freedom. And it might mean a specific number like making $10,000 per

month from your rental properties. But what it really means is that you have the time and the

flexibility and the freedom to do whatever's most

important to you. So that's the peak of the mountain. But if you're standing at the bottom of the

mountain looking up, that can be really intimidating. How do you actually get up the mountain to your

goal? And that's where strategies come in. The way I see strategies are a lot like routes up

the mountain. And so just imagine that you have other people

have gone before you. Maybe they've left footprints in the mountain. You can see kind of the path

they went. And maybe they even left some ropes for you to hold on to. And so those strategies

are ways that other people have gotten up the mountain. These are things like house hacking,

long-term rentals, Burr strategy. I'm going to go into details about each one of these.

But the mistake I see a lot of real estate investors make is they sort of jump around

between different strategies.
