As this episode goes live, Jay and Miles explained the X-Men is about five weeks into its 11th year.

But on April 13th of 2024, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our first episode's release. 10 years

years madness and what was also madness was what we did to celebrate

Jay flew across the country and we had a party at Portland's comic shop books with pictures

and we recorded a live episode at the Clinton Street Theater.

Fuck yeah we did and we couldn't resist attaching a milestone episode number to a milestone anniversary.

Alas doing it live occasionally means things get quirky so you may notice a short segment

near the beginning of this episode that we had to record after the fact to replace a little audio we lost.

So we're sitting here on the 10th anniversary of Jay and Miles explain the X-Men.

And I have been thinking a lot about questions.

How so, Jay? Well, you know, we've been through so much continuity at this point, and I'm wondering, is there

anything that still like keeps you up at night, just sort of going through back issues in your

brain trying to hack through?

Well, I still don't understand what happened

with Betsy Braddock and Kwanin.

That's OK, no one does.

But what about you?

What wakes you up at 3, I'm J? Yeah, sometimes I worry about the brood clones of the X-Men.

The ones out in space who showed up for like a single issue and then were universally forgotten.
