I've been having a nice time. I was out in Seattle and really living in the moment

I was away from my phone a lot. I downloaded this app called

Moment. I highly recommend it. It keeps tracks of how many times you pick up your

phone a day and how much time you spend on there and then it also

keeps track of it's called in the moment and that's periods of 30 minutes or longer that you're

not picking up your phone or looking at your phone.

And it's nice and you try to set your high score.

I've been down to under two hours, the last two days,

the first two days I've been using it. I went a little haywire with my phone last week because of the election stuff and I become obsessed with the news and what's going on and I can get wrapped up in that stuff and it

takes me to an unhealthy place mentally and probably physically too. And I'm

reading this book that I think I've mentioned a couple times called How to Break Up with your phone with an author name by the name of

Catherine Price who I'm trying to get on the show actually and she points out that the average person spends four hours a day on their phone and if you spend four hours a day on your phone that works out to being about 52 days a year that you're looking at your phone.
