Hello, Shameless moms. Here we are kicking off a new week here in Seattle for our family. It's the first week of summer. Then he's out of school. All of that should be in quotes. Like the first week of summer's in quotes because summer's really different. The last week of school could be in quotes because the last week of school didn't feel like the last week of school. So many things, but like just are not what we thought they would be.

And everything that is unfolded in 2020 just continues to be so, so extremely different than we thought. And I'll say that some of it needed to happen. Some of it was well, well past due.

And I know that many of us are really, really ready to lead the charge and be a positive voice for change and create power

for change. And then all of those things on the back end of surviving a pandemic. I shouldn't even say on

the back end. We're still surviving the pandemic. So fun like behind the scenes about this episode, I actually recorded this episode probably a pandemic. ago. And it was, the topic was going to be the breakdown of self-trust in a pandemic. And then I had to

re-record it because I was like, there's some stuff in here that's still completely relevant,

but I need to add a whole bunch of stuff to it. And now it's the breakdown of self-trust in 2020. So what I want to say about this year is

no matter what your life circumstances are, this year has not been what you thought it would be.

I'm willing to wager. And when things are uncertain for so long, and things are so heated in terms of

many belief systems being called into play, many people on many sides of said belief systems,
