We are honored to be joined by Rae de Leon who is the investigative reporter at the heart of the incredible Netflix documentary “Victim/Suspect” which was directed by Nancy Schwartzman who we are also thrilled to be joining us. Rae walks us through her journey digging deeply into this subject of law enforcement turning victims of sexual assault into suspects of “false” reporting. She has some additional shocking details to add about her interview of a certain detective.
Nancy talks about the common patterns she has discovered in her many years of chronicling sexual violence — especially the connection between sexual assault, police response and college football culture.
