On this episode of The Cine-Files, Steve Morris and John Rocha continue their revisit of 1975's JAWS with Part 3 of their breakdown and analysis of this modern classic in honor of its 50th anniversary. Steve and John did an episode on this film years ago, but are continuing to give it the FULL Cine-Files treatment here. Directed by legendary director Steven Spielberg, the film stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, Robert Shaw, Lorraine Gray, and Murray Hamilton. Scheider stars as police chief Martin Brody, who, with the help of a marine biologist (Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Shaw), hunts a man-eating great white shark that attacks beachgoers at a New England summer resort town. Nominated for four Oscars, it won for Best Original Score, Best Film Editing, and Best Sound. It lost Best Picture to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Steve and John go thru the movie scene by scene to break down the direction, acting, storylines, cinematography, score, action sequences and more.

| 1:44.9 | We haven't even gotten on the boat yet in the first two parts of our exploration of Jaws. And that speaks volumes to how special this movie has become for both of us. And for a lot of our fans who have been really enjoying the first two episodes, Steve, there is so much that we are discovering as we talk about this film. And, you know, we were talking before we started this podcast that this might be our first ever five-parter, but who knows right now? It's looking the way it's going. It's looking like at least a four-parter. And I'm excited to jump into it all with you again. Well, I'm certain it's going to be a four-parter because I'm damn sure we're not going to get to the end of this movie today. And the thing is, in a weird way, I feel like this is what the cinephiles is about, is that we are going to go into every detail.
