Summary

Monday night's game, which ended in a 42-29 loss for Seattle, was a rollercoaster of emotions. While there were offensive and defense lapses, the offense looked like they were going to find ways to get back into the game throughout the night. We talk about our mixed feelings about the game and the offense in particular. While the Seahawks' offense, led by Geno Smith, showcased some impressive plays, the defense struggled to keep up, allowing Jared Goff to complete a perfect 18 for 18. But was Geno's game better than Goff's "perfect" game? Especially considering the pressure he faced from the Lions' defensive line, particularly Aidan Hutchinson.

Ken Walker's dynamic running style continues to be a bright spot for the Seahawks. He has shown that he needs to be an even bigger part of the offense throughout the game. We also look ahead to the Seahawks upcoming matchup against the New York Giants. We're looking to see how the team bounces back against an opponent that looks like they may struggle to put points on the board.

The Los Angeles Rams are struggling to keep points off the board with their defense. They dropped another game in the standings this week along with the Cardinals. Brock Purdy is looking a lot like Geno behind a mostly suspect offensive line and we'll be facing them next week. The refs from the game against the Lions need to do better, but maybe not for the reason you'd expect. Adam also spikes the football on an issue he saw coming years ago. Better at life honors go out to something we don't see as often in the political sphere and to a Seahawks player who should walk into the Hall of Fame.

Hey, man, I appreciate you making the time.

0:21.4

I know this is your third go at breaking down this game here.

0:25.3

And it'll be my first, but I do appreciate it, especially when it was an interesting game

0:30.7

with a defensive, optional kind of flavor to it.

0:33.8

An interesting game.

0:35.1

Interesting is an interesting word to use because, yeah, when you lose 42.29, and the thing about this game, too, with the Seahawks and the Lions, is that I never felt like the team was going to be completely out of it. Because every time they got knocked back, they were climbing back

0:55.6

into it. But I also, I mean, it was frustrating the defense optional portion of it, especially with

1:06.1

it being the Mike McDonald defense. And, you know, this is what we expected from our team that we'd be

1:12.6

able to shut down people like, I don't know, Jared Goff, who then goes a perfect 18 for 18.

1:19.8

So I'm having trouble with a lot of this game.

1:24.8

I like the offense part of it.

1:26.9

That was fun. But the defense part of it, and I know we had a lot of this game. I like the offense part of it. That was fun, but the defense part of it,

1:29.6

and I know we had a lot of injuries, I still, the parts of it that I struggle with, being okay

1:36.7

with. Yeah. So I heard you on the post game show talk about the 18 for 18. That seemed to really

1:43.1

stick in your cry and I

1:44.7

and I do obviously think that that's no pointo you don't want the quarterback to go perfect

1:50.0

no doubt about it whatever I don't care if it's uh you know Zach Wilson like at the end of

1:57.7

the day they're professional quarterbacks but really people are acting like he went 36 for 36.
