Hey Jay, so I know we're past all the non-mutant heroes disappearing after onslaught, but I've been thinking about that whole thing.

Where did the heroes go?

Counter-Earth.

Ooy, that planet full of animal people built by the high evolutionary?

This counter-Earth was a pocket universe that Franklin Richards built inside a toy ball,

kind of, where all the supposedly dead heroes ended up while everyone in the main Marvel universe thought they were dead.

Ah, well, I know all the X-team stuck around Earth 616, so did like all the non X teams go to the less high version of

counter Earth?

They did not. For instance, the New Warriors were still around on Earth 616. Yeah, but the new warriors have some mutants on their team, like Firestar, and that confusing Vance

Astrovic guy.

So I know the various mutant teams... they're not an X team. Fair.

So I know the various mutant teams talked a ton about onslaught

and the other heroes disappearing.

Did that affect the new warriors, too?

Oh, yeah, but not necessarily in the ways you'd expect.

What? Did they, I don't know, struggle to fill the void left by the more experienced

Avengers or something?

I guess, but what I was thinking of was the time they fought Hydra's Pearl Sect whose greedy villainy turned out to be an allegory for Marvel farming out the post- onslaught

Avengers books to the folks who'd left to start Image comics like Roblyfell, Jim Lee, etc.
