So today is a short Monday podcast and I want to talk about procrastination. Now I think procrastination is a big issue. A lot of people

find themselves sat in front of something they kind of should be doing and they're like,

I just can't do it, I don't want to do it, and you end up, yeah, going on social media,

flicking through stuff, and then 45 minutes later, you're no closer to getting your thing done, you're probably more frustrated,

you're probably frustrated, they only had 45 minutes to do, and now you've got even less time to do it,

maybe you've got no time to do it.

So I want to talk about procrastination and I've got five things that I think

might be able to help you combat procrastination. Now number one, you've got a look at the

task that you're doing. Do you love it? Now the reason why I talk

about this is I'm self-employed. I'm a business owner. There's lots of things in my job that

I could do, but I don't do them because I don't want to do them.

And sometimes there's things in my job that I have to do because they're just part of the

other things that I have to do so I kind of have to look beyond it and just kind of get the task done because it's a way to get to that next spot.

And sometimes when you've been doing something a long time and you're now kind of sitting in front of this thing thinking,

I've got to do this thing.
