Marshall here. Welcome back to the realignment.

Hey guys, this is the final interview of the gear that conveniently is going to be able to wrap up and tie together

all the conversations I had about the defense and national security combined of technology

of course space over this past month. Speaking with Heather Joe Richmond, she is the founder and

co-chair of the Aukas Defense Investor Network. Before that, she was the founder of the

Defense Investor Network out in Palo Alto.

Obviously in all these episodes I did,

everything from the conversation of Jill Lonsdale

to last weeks with Mike Slaw involved all these different buzzwords,

all these broader concepts, everything from the VC to the

National Security and Technology spaces, so I thought this was a great opportunity

to kind of take a step back and not only talk about Heather's new work at the

Aukest Defense Investor Network, but also kind of tie together to broad themes because as she kind of discusses in this episode,

there is a huge moment for everyone when it comes to that dialing down and focusing on these mission focused topics.

So I very much enjoyed this conversation.
