I'm out here in New York City and joined some cooler weather today. It was funny because it was like nice and cool for like three days. I was like I'm loving this.

And then yesterday just fucking return of the scorcher return of the wet fucking the wet clothes the wet clothes walker.

Oh I hate humanity God. I'm telling you man if New York wasn't so cool I'd probably never come back.

The people talk about that winter like I said before but I fucked the humidity anyway I don't know I'm just complaining I love it.

All right so let's see what we got today in the cook here what do we have on the stove.

Today I got a great guest man. I know a lot of you guys love when I have drummers on and I feel like I've had some of the best drummers.

In the business no matter what type of music it is I've had the people sit down here I always believe.

And I've said it a million times you don't have a good drummer you don't have a good band that's all there is to it.

You know it's that vital and then there's great drummers and then there's next level drummers drummers that seem to become superstars.

Just on their own doesn't matter what band they're in there an absolute God because of they push the they push the boundaries they've gotten extreme on their instrument.

That's what my guest today has done he has made himself a household name in the metal world of drumming Mr. Jean Hogan is my guest today the atomic clock son.

Speaking of atomic clock what about McGregor he got the atomic clock oh man.

Woo what a weekend at the UFC.

Anyway back to my guest this guy has played with everyone he is currently out on tour with Testament he has played with anthrax he's played with death.

He's he was a lighting guy for slayer early on oh man the stories this guy has it was amazing we were just ping pong and back and forth about our lives back in those early days of speed and thrash metal in the Bay area what a time to grow up man to be in that it was just it was just epic and whenever I can sit down with someone like Jean who was also there and we're digging deep into it I just.

Man I go crazy I can talk about that shit for hours just just you know it's so iconic and historic.

Those those bands and what they did back then and Jean was there and Jean was playing drums and he's been playing drums every since.

And it was an honor to have him on what a what a god on the instrument he is and also we talk about other cool stuff like health he is recently lost I think 140 pounds which is insane I lost 40 and I thought I was cool.
