Child Star Syndrome is a phenomenon that we're seeing all too much of in the 21st century.

When children are pushed into the limelight at a young age, it often has catastrophic effects on them as they grow up.

Some of them suffer terrible abuse from adults within the industry.

Some develop severe mental health issues, which they commonly treat with excessive drugs and alcohol, often leading to dependency and sometimes even death.

We've seen it with the likes of Lindsay Lohan, McCauley Culkin, Amanda Bynes, and the subject of today's video, Ryan Grantham, who starred in some family favourites, including Riverdale, Supernatural

But this video isn't about Ryan's achievements.

Actually, this video is about what happened when those achievements stopped and Ryan began

spiraling into madness.
