Continuing with our theme of new and independent games this week,

we are bringing you a game that I am extremely excited about called

princesses and palaces. This game made a bit of a splash on the RPG

subreddit a couple weeks ago. It's a role-playing system that parents

designed for their daughter and they started playing with her when she was four years old.

The idea of playing with kids is something that intimidates a lot of people.

Keeping up with and making sense of a four-year-old's imagination seems almost impossible.

But ordering and making sense of imagination is what role-playing games do best.

And the P&P system is designed really well to help you keep up with your four-year-old or 10-year-old or whoever

you decide to play this game with.

P&P is a rules light story-building system not unlike a lot of the games we feature on the show.

The math is simple and easy for someone to keep up with of any age and it uses all sorts of

fun dice.
