Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your game master.

I'm very excited about the show this week for several reasons, so let's hop right in.

I'm very proud to announce that I'll be judging this year's top secret games

two-page tabletop design competition, the first competition of its sort ever.

I'm honored to be working alongside any award-winning designer John

Arcadian of Silvervine games and the founder of top-secret games James Mason.

And we're going to be judging two-page game systems. Now if you're a loyal

listener of the show, you know I love two-page games. We featured tons of micro systems

on the show, including lasers and feelings, all out of bubblegum, and of course everyone's

favorite, everyone is John.

Now I know I have a lot of game designers in my audience and people who want to be game designers. If that's one of your life

aspirations, please enter this competition. I would love to see what you can do.

Now as many of you know, I am also working on my own game design career and before I found out that I was going to be asked to judge this competition I was working on an entry of my own.

I can tell you it's far from perfect and based on many of the designs that have already

judged in the competition, it definitely wouldn't have won. But seeing as how I love games and

want to share every possible aspect of the game design process.
