Summary

My guest this week is Beth, whose father abused her. She was watching television when her father walked up, kicked her from behind, and called her a whore, for no reason. Even though he died in 2005, she is still furious and disgusted with him. She wants him to suffer, to see that he was wrong, and to love her as a father should. Beth is one of the most courageous people I’ve ever worked with. Are you ready? Join Beth and me, and let’s do The Work.

my father died in 2005 and I've tried to do the work by myself and so I've done a work sheet so that I can bring it to your feet and you can help me see the turnarounds.

1:49.0

Okay, honey, and you know, just as important as the turnarounds are those four questions.

1:55.0

And that takes us to turnarounds, absolutely, which is, you know, it's the opposite of suffering. So that is the

2:08.0

turnaround we're looking for. Suffering is a word for fear and we can do something about that. We can identify on that

the ego floating around in a past and future, then I am away to the difference

between imagination and reality. One is sane and one can get pretty weird out there and be apparent out there.
