a documentary filmmaker, also Emmy-winning, and we learn in this Grammy Grammy winning, which he didn't deserve.

But we'll get into that later.

He's made these great documentaries, smartest guys in the room on Enron.

He's made really well-done one on Scientology.

And the reason I'm doing this one today is called Citizen K is his movie.

And it's about this oligarch who defied Putin.

And Putin put him in prison for 10 years.

This is a guy was maybe the richest guy, the richest oligarch in Russia.

He defies Putin and goes to Siberia for 10 years.

And he kind of knew he was going there.

And he went there out of a sense of honor.

I wouldn't do that.

Would you ask yourself?

Of course you wouldn't.

And what it is, it's a cautionary tale.

Because this it is, it's a cautionary tale because this documentary Citizen K,

it starts, you know, with Gorbachev and glass-nosed, and then it goes to Yeltsin.

And that transition, as the Soviet Union fell apart and became Russia there was actually hope that this would become a democracy and a capitalist democracy what happened though is not

that but it didn't have to go that way and it did i mean there are reasons it did

they did not know capitalism and that's where the oligarchs kind of came in and captured

the oil industry captured all this incredible, and did it really in a shady way.
