Hi, I'm John Joseph Adams. I'm the editor of Lightspeed and Fantasy magazine and I've also edited several anthologies,

such as armored, an anthology about powered armor and Mecca,

which is coming out from Bay and Books in April next year,

and Under the moons of Mars, new adventures on Barsoom.

And anthology detailing the further adventures of John Carter of Marsuom, and anthology detailing the further adventures of John Carter of Mars, which

comes out from Simon and Schuster in February.

And I'm David Bar-Cirtley.

I'm the author of many short stories including the ontological factor about a nervous philosophy

student who finds himself in a house full of doorways to other worlds.

And our guest today is Charlene Harris. She's the author of the

best-selling Southern Vampire Mystery Series, which was adapted by Director Alan Ball into the hit

HBO series True Blood. She recently edited the Sooky Stackhouse Companion,

as well as the Short Story Anthology's

Death's Excellent Vacation and Home Improvement

Undead Edition.
