Hello, everyone and welcome to a brand new, a live episode of the Cineophiles.

We do this every month here on the show.

We did skip last month for a number of reasons, but we are back again this month. And today

to do a live show here on the channel to talk about the 50th anniversary of Jaws. I am John

Rocha, one half of the Cineviles. Join as always by my shipmates, boatmates, whatever you want to say

there. Steve Morris, how are you, Steve? Ahoy, matey. I'm very good. I'm very good. And can I just

totally take control for a minute and tell you a story that I think is important that you would enjoy?

Right off the bat. Yeah, go ahead. Knock yourself out knock yourself out so so as i we were texting last

night and i told you i was taking my son to see monty python in the holy grail in a theater for the

first time uh and i i don't think i had ever actually seen it in a movie theater and i just want to report

back that not only did it go great, but that he had that experience

that I think we want everyone to have, which is he saw it with a great audience who was laughing

and it made the movie better and he laughed at new things. And then the craziest thing,

which is, you know, at the end of the movie, they have the black where the do do do do do to do

music plays forever is the audience

because it goes on and on and there's nothing on the screen and first the audience laughs and then they

laugh in a different way and then the audience started clapping to the music and my son started clapping

we're all clapping and it went on and on and on for like five minutes and went through all the different

kinds of laughter where it's like oh it's still going i can't believe it's still going is everyone

going to really keep clapping and we all kept clapping for like five straight minutes in the dark

listening to this music my i think it was like the first kind of group theatrical experience
