League of the 14th went to Turkey last week and met with Bartholomew I, the Orthodox Patriarch

of Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey. And there were a few missed opportunities, I would have to say,

and lots and lots of photo-ups. The so-called, I'm just going to call them the TradCon

Press, traditional Catholic establishment press, Con Inc., if you will, EWTN, all the news agencies, ZNet,

all of the post-Vatican 2 Nova-Sordo ethos journalists want to take photographs and comment on the

emotion of his face. Leo's emotional listening to, how do they know? Do they have magical soul reading apparatus? And is this really a story?

Can you show me one coverage from the media of Pope Benedict or John Paul II,

where his inner emotional life was somehow a story? This is like, this is a thing now.

And true to form, Leo essentially

didn't distinguish himself as a specifically Catholic leader in the Orthodox context.

And one proof of this is that when they recited the creed together, the Nicene Creed,

what was omitted is the

filioque clause, which means ah, and from the Son. So we see this in the creed, God from God,

light, from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in consubstantial with the

father. And it's from the Father and the Son, Philiochwe and the son that the Holy Spirit proceeds from.

That was omitted as a gesture of openness and dialogue and reconciliation.

Well, wait a second.

That was added by the Western Church and it should stay because it expresses the truth.

Why is it a servant of unity to compromise on something that's already been settled by the Catholic Church, Roman Catholic Church?

I don't understand the hoopla about him going into mosques, I mean, modern popes have since Pius the, I would say, Paul the 6th, I think was the trend started there.

These are, in some cases, property that was ransacked by a Muhammadans, and we shouldn't really rejoice in the fact that any Catholic leader went there except to drop hints that some other crusade is
