something that is very unsettled.

And it probably shouldn't be unsettled

in the modern world, but it is quite unsettled.

How do we know anything?

And this is important for the apologist,

any apologist, but certainly for the Christian apologists,

we say certain things are true and that we know them to be true.

And we know them with such a certainty

that we entrust our lives to these things that we know,

for example, God's revelation, but also moral truths

that are derived from philosophy and whatnot.

And often the objection to that is not,

that's not true, the objection is,

well, nobody can know that for sure.

Or how could you even know that?
