I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.

| 1:16.3 | city wall or if they were going to build a building that they dig down and find |
| 1:20.4 | the rock to build that building on, to have a firm foundation. In the same way, a |
| 1:26.6 | fortress was a place of security and refuge to protect against enemies. You see, he's using this imagery to show us something that God is like. |
| 1:36.3 | He is a firm foundation under our feet. He is our place of refuge. He even goes on and says, in whom I take refuge. You see, we have a choice. |
| 1:46.7 | We have a decision when the difficulties and hardships of life come our way. |
| 1:52.0 | We can either try to handle it on our own and stick it out, gut it out |
