Welcome back to the peripheral. The funny thing about me putting out a lot of these episodes

is I have all these ideas, I have a lot of emotions about the episode as I'm interviewing

the guest and editing. But then weeks, two months later, when I'm finally putting out the episode,

I've forgotten all the things that were on my mind. I put out really bland intros,

where I just introduced the person and just get on with the show. And I hope to change that.

I wanted to give a quick shout out to everybody I got to meet in Nashville at

CrimeCon. It was great meeting the captain and Nick from True Crime Garage, hanging out with

Shane from the podcast, Out of the Shadows. Beck and Tyler from Minds of Madness were there.

It was so awesome hanging out with them in person.

Thinking sideways. The trail went cold. There's so many more people to mention, but it would take

20 minutes for me to go through the list, so I'm sorry. I will be in New Orleans with Aaron for

I'm currently in talks with Jeremy and the promoters about doing a live show for the peripheral.

But being that the peripheral is more about my guests than me,

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to approach this and possibly have somebody come on

stage with me and tell their story. We do have some time constraints. I'm trying to figure out if it'll be possible for someone to tell their story. We do have some time constraints. I'm trying to figure out if it'll be possible

for someone to tell their story in 45 minutes or less. So with this episode, it is part two. It's a

completely different story from a completely different guest, but I do think that they go hand in hand, so you can listen

to this and then go back and listen to the last episode.

The more we travel down this path of what the peripheral has become, the more I realize

how intertwined mental health, addiction, and abuse all are.
