| 0:00.0 | Thank you so much, Jasmine, for coming on. I'm so happy that we were able to connect because I think |
| 0:06.0 | we're very similar in a lot of ways, different paths for sure, but very similar. So I'm excited to |
| 0:12.1 | kind of dive into your journey so far. Yeah. Well, thank you so much for having me on the podcast. |
| 0:17.9 | I know that we had our little connection chat. And when we were chatting, |
| 0:21.3 | I just felt like so energized by your own reinvention stories. So I'm excited, so excited to be here. |
| 0:28.7 | Thank you. Thank you. Okay. So I did a little bit of digging on you. And I know that who you are now |
| 0:34.3 | is very clearly not how you started your journey, specifically when it comes to |

| 1:11.7 | if you could take us back to that time and also kind of what the impetus was for you to |
| 1:17.7 | pivot away from that path. Absolutely. 100%. I think my life can be very much summed up by I was living |
| 1:26.6 | through the expectations of everyone else, |
| 1:29.3 | and now I'm living for myself. And so although I'm incredibly proud for having achieved a PhD, |
| 1:35.3 | I was the first in my family to graduate college, the first in my family to get a PhD, |
| 1:40.3 | the first in my family to get the six-figure corporate job, the first in my family to start a business. |
| 1:45.7 | I was always the first, and I am so incredibly proud of that path. |
| 1:50.2 | But being the first, like many of us know, puts a lot of pressure and expectations on you for a certain kind of success. |
| 1:58.5 | And that success is very much the checkbox success. |
