Good morning, rise and shine. Welcome back to Ask Me In My House. I'm Elena. And I'm Jordan.

We're recording our episode pretty early this morning. We never really do them in the mornings.

Yeah, we usually do them like late afternoon or even at night sometimes when we're really loopy.

But now we're just trying to get awake because it is early like Malena said.

But we're here. We're excited and I'm very, very excited about today's episode.

Yeah, it's going to be one of them.

So it's like this makes me really excited. I just love just talking about life and the

realness of life, especially something as deep as being parents. Because I feel like a lot of

people see only the stuff that we put out and a lot of the times like we aren't showing you guys

behind the scenes of waking up in the middle of the night, disciplining all of those things that

aren't so camera pretty. No one really tends to show, but it happens. But people assume because

they don't see it doesn't happen, but it does. So we're very excited about this week's episode.

Yes, absolutely. And a lot of people seem really excited about this topic when we started talking

about it and kind of surveying people. And as you might know, we just celebrated Aletheia's first

birthday party, a K, her royal ball. And it was very fun. So we kind of in the spirit of

Aletheia's first year of life and us being parents for a year now and soon to be parents of

another little boy. Yeah, we just kind of wanted to sit down and give you guys kind of an honest

look at what our experience with parenting has been thus far and things that we got wrong.

And yeah, you know, setting expectations that were realistic versus not things like that.

Yep. How it affected our marriage. Any specific changes that we noticed, also how it changes

should did change our sex life, which we all know that's what y'all are here for.

Everyone seemed to be very eager and excited to hear about that and just hear everything.
