Hi. How's it going, G.R. Dad? It's gone pretty well. I don't like the distance, but, you know, it's, it is what it is. This was surprise distance. I was like, I'm gonna have two weeks in Florida. This is, your mom is a little bit just like us, even though she's more awesome. Go ahead. It's like, I have been in Maryland for two weeks. I'm so excited to come home. I miss the dogs. I miss you. I'm going to be in Florida for two whole weeks before I have to go anywhere. And Ingo goes, that's not going to happen. And I was like, no, for real. Like, unless a civil war breaks out, I'm here for two weeks. It's going to be great. And he's like, whatever, I'll believe it when it happens. I've learned, I try to bite my tongue on that stuff, because I used to be super grumpy Gus and be like, murder to do, it's never Eeyore. Never going to happen. I'm trying to be better. So I wasn't quite as, like, you know, stomp on your dreams,

but I probably mumbled things and was very passive-aggressive about it.

And you were right, because I submitted a photo to a call for submissions for this group photography show.

So it's a gallery.

They're taking individual pictures from people and putting them up.

I have done this a lot and I have always been rejected every time I've done it,

which is sort of par for the course, I think.

And I submitted a photo to this group show. I submitted two photos,

actually, and forgot about it because all that happens is I submit and then eventually it goes

through a machine and it spits out a no thank you. And so then I got an email on Monday,

which is now Thursday, so on Monday, and I'm sitting on the couch in Florida. And the email is like, hey, everyone, you know, today's the day to drop your prints off at the gallery. And, you know, we'll be there from 11 to 4, but if you need to come outside those hours, let us know.

And I'm like, well, I have clearly been put on the wrong group email because I do not have a picture in any show at any gallery.

And I was like, I did submit a picture to this show, though.

When did you submit it?

Like two months ago.

That's important.

And, and I'm like, surely I don't, they must have just emailed everybody who submitted

instead of the people who are accepted.

And don't call me, surely.

But I didn't get a rejection for this show either.

I don't think.
