I have no idea how to begin this. I suppose I could start by describing my home. It's a fairly stereotypical creepy environment.

A large house in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains, deep in the woods. It's not an old house, but the land it's on is old and has a lot of history.

From dozens of slave deaths and building long forgotten roads to a native American burial ground and even moonshining, so a lot has happened here.

I don't know if some of this is connected, but that's all I know about it.

I've lived in this house since I was 11, and since the beginning, it always felt off.

My parents had always been fairly involved with the whole energy and crystals new age spirituality and had gotten me accustomed to it.
