| 0:00.0 | What's going on, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all, |
| 0:04.8 | happy podcast. I'm our coach and host Josh here with his co-host and co-coach, KG, and I'm in the |
| 0:11.1 | house. Coming at you with another episode of Motivation Monday, looking at you fired up and |
| 0:16.2 | equipped for the week to get some killer results and just become a fitter, healthier, and |
| 0:20.3 | the way we always like to kick off these episodes for a reason is starting off with your for the week to get some killer results and just become a fitter, healthier, and happier person. |
| 0:37.6 | And the way we always like to kick off these episodes for a reason is starting off with just the killer quote that we've been thinking about this week. And we're going to let Kyle started off with his. What do you got, Kyle? Yeah, so my quote's a little bit different, but you got to bear with me here. It is, you don't realize what you have until it's gone. and basically the reason I want to bring this up, it's a little bit different than my whole fitness type of stuff, but I can always, I feel like, relate everything back to fitness. |
| 0:45.1 | So, you know, just the other day, I was poked in the eye from my dog and he didn't mean to do it. |
| 0:49.5 | But, you know, I haven't really thought about like how grateful I am to have just like really great eyesight and everything like that until I just wasn't able to necessarily see out of my eye. I woke up and like for 15 minutes I wasn't able to look and then it started like, you know, tearing up during the day and I had to like keep covering it up and everything's fine now, long story short, but you know, always relating back to like the gratitude side of things like i think |
| 1:11.0 | it's so important to just like be grateful for these things that we don't necessarily think about |
| 1:15.2 | even though yes everything's good it had you know it made me just start to think like oh man like |
| 1:19.5 | just day to day there's no problems everything's good and i really i like to relate this back to our |
| 1:24.7 | fitness journey and i think the reason i was also thinking about this is because we get a lot of messages |
| 1:29.2 | from people who are looking to sign up for coaching who, you know, start to kind of go down a bit of a bad path in terms of just overall health. Like, you know, a lot of issues that take place. And I feel like a lot of them just really want to be able to just be at their best self and be able to just feel their best and not have any, you know, issues that are currently taking place within, you know, their current day-to-day life and a lot of restrictions. And that also reminds me of even like, I'm sure a lot of you guys can relate to when you're sick or when you're injured and you don't realize like how grateful you are to be just like able-bodied and fit and stuff like that until, you know, even until it's gone for just a little bit. I know you obviously will get it back. But yeah, just something to think about and there's something that I want to start to incorporate in my daily gratitude practice is like, you know, even just consistently I'll say how grateful I am for just like being able to be in shape, to be fit, to be, you know, healthy and all that other stuff and you know just anytime that |
| 2:19.2 | i'm ever injured or you know just a little bit sick it's just like it always reminds me of that but |
| 2:23.4 | i don't want you to have to wait until that takes place for you to actually be grateful for it so |
| 2:27.7 | that's just what was on the top of my head for today yeah we've spoken a lot recently on gratitude |
| 2:31.7 | and i've even mentioned how when i'm sick you know know, I really sucks not feeling strong, not feeling amazing. And, you know, even I think me and Kyle both have really put our best before in terms of healthy eating. And you realize how good and powerful you and healthy you feel when you're just eating well and energized. And, you know, sometimes when you're sick or you have an injury or something going on takes it away and you |
| 2:51.9 | kind of come to appreciate these things more right or even you know if your ears are clogging you can't |
| 2:56.6 | hear like it is a really good analogy and that's why it's really important too to just be thankful for |
| 3:01.5 | these things and appreciate them and you know that's where gratitude always does come in so handy so |
| 3:06.7 | that was a really fun quote. |
| 3:25.7 | For me this week, I will go ahead and share my quote a little bit different as well, but something I really passionately believe in. And it's that it's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you are not. So, you know, all the time I mention just, you know, the negative affirmations, I'll hear people give themselves like, I'm not the best in the gym. |
