In case you haven’t heard, the FTC recently announced legislation banning non-compete agreements, essentially making it illegal for any company in the United States to have a non-compete on an employee or in our case, an independent contractor.

Today, I want to share my thoughts on this development, and more importantly, provide a warning and a word of caution because I know for a fact that the “vultures” are starting to circle.

Let's talk about the FTC non-compete ruling.

So if you haven't had a chance to hear yet,

just a week ago, the FTC announced some legislation banning

non-compete agreements. This is just in the US just so know. But so essentially what they're saying

is that it is now illegal for any company

And so non-compete, meaning that you are able to essentially move to another company or another business,

and your company can't place any restrictions on you.
