| 2:01.1 | And as always, there's no better way to get things going than with a quote. What do you got, Kyle? Yeah, this week, my quote is quite simple. It is, food is the most abused drug. Exercise is the most underused antidepressant. And I just, I came across it as I was scrolling through Instagram. I find a lot of times I get it through Instagram books or, you know, motivation videos and stuff like that. But it just kind of like really made me, you know, like when you hear a quote and just makes you kind of sit there and just think about it for a few seconds, that's, uh, that's what this quote did for me. So basically it was just kind of like realizing like once again, there's so many different benefits to exercise. First of all, like addressing that part and just like how improves your mood, how improves just like so many different areas of your life, like not even just physique wise, but just like mental clarity, mental health. Like anytime you go for a nice walk or run like anything and you're're just like, oh my gosh, I feel absolutely incredible. So I just wanted to share that. And then also when it comes down to like food, it is obviously tough. We've kind of shared some of the stats. And, you know, we do find a lot of times it is used as like a coping mechanism for like stress and just, you know, things that are going on in your life. You'll always feel better from it. You know, you're never going to wake up like and just be like, man, I wish I didn't go for that, you know, walk last night or to get that workout in. |
| 2:31.7 | So just starting to think like as we talk about habits, |
| 2:34.3 | always and stuff like that, |
| 2:35.7 | just like starting to think like as we talk about habits, |
| 2:34.5 | always and stuff like that, just like starting to use utilize and kind of rely on exercise a bit more |
| 2:39.8 | and rely on food less as like a coping mechanism for whatever going through. I think it's definitely |
| 2:44.8 | a very powerful thing. Obviously you do need to start to realize the cues and the routines and |
