Hello and several anthologies such as the Living Dead 2 and The Way of the Wizard were just

nominated for the World Fantasy Award. I'm also the editor of Lightspeed magazine

and Fantasy magazine. And I'm David Barr-Kirtley. I'm the author of many short stories including Power Armor or Love Story, about the relationship between a man who never takes off his invincible power armor and the woman sent to assassinate him.

The story will be appearing in March in John's

anthology armored from Bayon Books. And since this is episode 42,

it's only fitting that we devote this episode to the

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. And if you haven't read Hitchhiker's Guide, basically it's about an ordinary Earth man

who learns that Earth is about to be destroyed and he manages to escape by hitching a ride with the aid of his best friend who turns out to be an alien from

Beetlejuice and they have all sorts of crazy adventures and Arthur learns all about the strange universe that he finds himself in with the aid of the book,

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which contains all sorts of useful knowledge.

And some of the characters had built a supercomputer

to try to answer the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.

And after millennia, this computer spat out the answer, which is 42.

You know, so 42 is sort of a significant number in Hitchhackers got to the galaxy,

and hence that's why we're devoting this show to Douglas Adams.

42 is also a significant number here at Geek Sky to the Galaxy.

So the fact that this is episode 42 means that we've now done just as many episodes for

I.09 as we did for tour.com.
