Okay, well Lewis, congratulations, you're thinking about buying a house, big steps to take.

Well the first step of course is to save for a down payment and I would say, this isn't money that you want to lock up anywhere

you don't want to put this in a CD or a bond or even the stock market you want to keep this

cash as liquid as possible so that you can take it so that when you find that dream home and you want to make a bid and you want to be the first in line,

you can take that cash out and be ready to present your offer.
