Welcome back to the Squiggly Career Skill Sprint. We are on day eight of our sprint and today's topic is

0:08.5

judgment. And judgment is one of those skills that I think can feel difficult to figure out like how

0:15.0

do I get better at this? Like how do I have better judgment? And though it is definitely a

0:20.4

learnable skill, it's one of those

0:22.3

where I think we have to break it down a bit to think about, well, how do I improve? Like, what does getting

0:27.1

better look like? But I think when you do have good judgment, the benefit for you in your career

0:33.1

is that in return, you get really good trust from people. I think people start to trust you to make

1:15.8

or how I've got to that kind of idea in my head. Whereas judgment, I would say as a result of like

1:22.1

these bits of information and what I've considered, this is what I think is the best way forward.

1:26.4

And when someone understands your thinking, they've got like an insight into how you've got to this is what I think is the best way forward. And when someone understands your thinking,

1:28.3

they've got like an insight into how you've got to that judgment,

1:31.2

I think there's a bit more understanding for it,

1:33.4

maybe a bit more buy-in.

1:34.6

So just sort of be aware and maybe spot other people at this difference between,
