Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot. I'm James Damato, your host in GameMaster.

Heroes this week we are concluding our Sentinel Comics adventure. I had so much fun playing this game and I hope y'all had just as much fun listening to it.

Before we get on to the episode, I wanted to make a quick note at the top of the show.

Last week on Friday, one of our listeners reached out to let us know that an ableist slur

was included in this series.

In order to own up to what happened and hopefully give our listeners information that we definitely didn't have when we started this series,

I will be repeating that slur here once and that is dimwit.

Although for some people this might be common parlance, it has a dark history as a slur

being used against people with cognitive disabilities. And although this term was introduced to this series by a guest of the show, I definitely

don't think the responsibility for this falls squarely on their shoulders either.

I being the host of the show and another voice at the table certainly could have stopped it

if I had known how severe the cultural context around this slur was.

We also have editorial power here over the One Shot Network and we definitely could have

taken more steps to prevent it from hurting any of

our listeners. For this week's episode I'll be including some of the educational
