Early in the morning hours of Sunday November 13th, Ethan Chapin, 20; and roommates Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21 were brutally murdered in the Moscow Idaho home shared by the young women. Since that day, this case has been in the news nonstop as the speculations about the murderer, the why’s and how’s of the crime captured our national attention. 1:56.0 | Everyone has been opining about it and glued to the TV about it. |
2:00.0 | But we've really stayed for the most part away from it for a variety of reasons and we're going to talk about those reasons. But as you know, one of the reasons is not to criticize or interfere with the non-going investigation, not to elevate and accused offender. |

2:21.0 | Well, Lisa, the thing is, I mean, I have spoken a number of times before the defendant was arrested because I wanted to help get the word out to people in the public about the kind of offender and encourage people to come forward with information and to scrutinize the people around them because I believe there would be behavioral changes in him. |
2:48.0 | And I think that's the reason why I think that people are not going to be able to prevent the crime from pre-imposed offense and that people could actually help the investigation. |
2:56.0 | So that's the reason for going on, you know, the national news programs. |
3:00.0 | Post arrest, there's a lot of people that are speculating and so forth. And there are people that are actually wrongfully, very wrongfully accusing a witness, one of the, |

They've also, there's been a number of people who questioned how long it took for law enforcement to actually make an arrest and that's just also ridiculous because they were doing their job and they were putting together a case that would not be shakeable and they have to do that. |
