Java with Julie is a listener-supported podcast and outreach of authentic intimacy, a ministry dedicated to reclaiming

God's design for sexuality. And today I get to make an exciting announcement. I want to let you know

that October 14th and 15th, we will be hosting a reclaim conference. The last time we did a

reclaim conference was, I think, way back in 2019 before COVID, but this is a time for the authentic intimacy community to gather and to really invite God to reclaim his design for sex in our lives.

And so I'm inviting you to come to my hometown in Northeast in Ohio this fall.

And it is beautiful in Ohio in the fall.

We get the changing colors and just the crisp air and great apple cider and all the good

things that you can enjoy.

But we're really here to talk about what God intends sex and marriage to look like.

That is the theme for this year's conference.

God's design for sex in marriage. I have noticed that there are so many people who misunderstand

God's plan for sex in marriage. They're just confused between what the culture is teaching them,

what maybe even they've learned growing up in the church

about sex is all about just following a bunch of rules, and they don't have the greater

vision for why God gave married couples the gift of sexual intimacy.
