Summary

Scripture: Mark 2:18–28 In today’s episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and hear Jesus answer some questions. Why weren’t His disciples fasting? Why did the Pharisees get upset when they picked grain on the Sabbath? And what was Jesus showing everyone about God’s law, grace, and what it really means to belong to Him? Kids will learn that Jesus did not come to patch up an old system. He came to bring something new. In this episode, kids will hear: What fasting means Why Jesus compared Himself to a bridegroom What new wine and old wineskins mean Why the Pharisees were upset about the Sabbath Key truth: Because we are accepted in Jesus, we obey out of love—not out of fear.
