Also, I'm going to point out that in 400-plus episodes of The Incomparable, we have not addressed The Simpsons, which has been airing since 1989, more than 600 episodes, recently renewed for its 29th and 30th seasons.

It is the show of our lifetime in some ways,

and how in the world could we cover it on the incomparable?

No, we are going to draft quotes from The Simpsons because what I learned long ago, actually, a decade ago or more, is that one could probably construct an entire conversation, deep, meaningful conversation with a friend using nothing but quotes from The Simpsons.

Yes, I'm one of those people.

I learned 10 years ago that it had been 10 years since the Simpsons were good. Yeah. Yeah. Apparently, there is a joke in the first episode of Futurama where Fry discovers that the Simpsons is still on, but people say that the last 500 years have not been as funny as the first 500 years.

And with every passing year, that joke gets better.

Because now it's the, well, the first decade was really great.

Okay, we're now in the third decade.
