Summary

In this episode, Tyra dives into the power of decluttering—not just your space, but your mind and heart too. If something is draining you more than it’s filling you, it’s time to reevaluate. From unhealthy relationships to limiting beliefs to that pile of things you “might need one day,” we’re breaking down what it means to truly let go and make space for what aligns with you.

This week’s Affirmation is when I let go of what is not for me, I create space to discover what is

3 Biggest Takeaways:

  • Your space reflects your mind. A cluttered environment often mirrors a cluttered emotional state.
  • Letting go isn’t just about removing things—it’s about making room for something better.
  • The things you’re afraid to release might be the very things holding you back.

On this podcast, we talk a lot about intaking new information and becoming the best version of

0:06.8

ourselves through learning about the things around us. But one thing that I really want to talk

0:12.7

about a little bit more is mental and emotional clutter. Here's the thing. Everything in life takes up space, whether it is emotionally,

0:24.3

mentally, or physically. And if it's not adding value to your life, it's costing you something.

0:31.6

We hold on to so much, old habits, relationships, thoughts, and even physical things that no longer serve a purpose in our lives.

0:41.0

But what if I told you the very thing that you're afraid to release is blocking your next blessing?

0:47.8

Powerful.

0:49.3

You things are as powerful.

What is going on, beautiful?

1:10.0

Where we focus on personal

1:11.5

growth and cultivating a healthy relationship with ourselves. I'm your host, Tahrer,

1:16.5

creative, actress, content creator, and mental health enthusiast. And y'all, today's

1:21.1

vocabulary word is declutter. Okay. We're not just talking about decluttering our physical space or our email inbox or our

1:32.6

text thread inbox, but we're also talking about your emotional space, your mental energy,

1:39.5

and the relationships we have too. So I wrote down a definition of declutter and here it is.

1:46.9

Declutter means to remove unnecessary items from an untidy or overcrowded place. Now before we

1:57.0

dive all the way into clutter because if y'all know the weekend i just had you would just know

2:04.3

that it has been so full of clutter and i also need to declutter once again so this is a very

2:09.6

timely episode but before we dive in let's go ahead and get into our affirmation of the week

2:15.6

this week's affirmation is,
