A scientist friend of mine, I was talking to the other day about this horizon thing,

because I don't know how much you know about it,

but I'll admit to knowing very little.

And he said, you know, it's all a load of old bullocks

what they keep saying about how wonderful this is for Britain. He said, it's very rare that the Horizon Scheme has ever made any kind of

scientific progress at all. So he said, I can't see why we needed to be part of something that

we've never actually benefited from particularly. But I've got no idea what the truth is of that. I have heard different from

other researchers about how important it is. Anyway, look, we are in a relatively tight rain today

because I have to get off up to Sandwell to meet with an MP. So we will be focused and we will be covering the issue that we have just vaguely alluded

to around schools concrete and the second Keegan outburst of my lifetime.
